1st Annual Conway Turkey Trot 5K

The Conway Turkey Trot is more than a race—it is a community celebration benefiting the Conway Chapter of Churches Assisting People (CAP), a local nonprofit organization that has been serving individuals and families in crisis since 1986. CAP provides assistance with basic needs in an environment of compassion, dignity, and respect, helping local residents when they need it most. Through the support of churches, businesses, civic organizations, volunteers, and generous community members, CAP continues to make a lasting difference throughout Conway and Horry County.
Every registration, sponsorship, donation, and canned food contribution helps strengthen our community. Whether you're an experienced runner chasing a personal best or simply

directly supports local families facing difficult times.

The event features a scenic 5K course through historic Downtown Conway and the beautiful Riverwalk area, a Gobbler Kids' Dash, refreshments, finisher medals, race shirts (while supplies last), and a canned food drive benefiting CAP. It's the perfect way to begin Thanksgiving by giving back before gathering around the dinner table.
